R. David Genovese
R. David Genovese

R. David Genovese founded Baywater Properties in 2001, following a 12-year career in real estate investment banking in New York and London. Prior to founding Baywater, David served as Co-Head of Real Estate Investment Banking for Credit Suisse First Boston. Previously, David served as a Managing Director in Bankers Trust Company's Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Through the course of his career in investment banking, David was responsible for a variety of transactions valued in excess of $15.0 billion, including mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, bond offerings, securitized financings, bank loans, and principal investments. David is an honors graduate of Colby College and The London School of Economics and Political Science. David also received an MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. David is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Human Services Council of Norwalk, the Darien Athletic Foundation and The Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut. David has served as a member of the Board of Overseers of Colby College, and as a board member of the Darien Technology and Community Foundation, the Darien YMCA, the Darien Historical Society, and Darien Revitalization, Inc. In 2007, David was named as one of the "40 under 40" business leaders in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Rocco Genovese
Rocco Genovese

Rocky has been active in real estate in Fairfield County throughout his career, as well as being involved in a variety of other businesses. Most recently, Rocky served as President of Genovese Industries, Inc. of Stamford prior to the sale of its primary divisions to O&G Industries and Petro, Inc. He brings to Baywater a lifetime of business experience in Fairfield County, having managed his family’s business (founded in 1923). He is also a partner at ABM Air Conditioning and Heating, one of Fairfield and Westchester counties’ largest HVAC contracting companies. Rocky is a graduate of Bryant College, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Camillus Health Center in Stamford.

Doug Craybas
Doug Craybas

Doug Craybas joined Baywater in 2012 after a 22 year career at A. Pappajohn Construction. Doug is responsible for all property management and construction for Baywater. Prior to joining Baywater, Doug worked with the Baywater team in the construction of 1020 Boston Post Road and 17 Old Kings Highway South in Darien, as well as in the renovation of the Darien YMCA in 2011 and 2012. Doug received an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences and Architecture from Norwalk Technical College in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Lisa Elwell
Lisa Elwell

Lisa has broad experience in the retail, fashion, and lifestyle industries. She enjoyed a 10-year career in fashion media, culminating as the Fashion Director at O: The Oprah Winfrey Magazine. After moving to Darien in 2002 she worked as an interior designer and at the Darien YMCA in member services.

Shawn Kapitan
Shawn Kapitan

Shawn Kapitan serves Baywater Properties as Property Manager. Shawn has a background in Commercial Property Operations and Management and Commercial Pool Operations that began ten years ago. During the course of Shawn’s prior employment as facility manager of the Darien YMCA, he established many long standing relationships within the community of Darien. Shawn also has a passion for the arts. As a graduate of the Connecticut Institute of Art, Shawn went on to become a published photographer as well as a freelance graphic designer. Shawn’s work is displayed in well-known companies such as Bed Bath and Beyond, Michael's Arts and Crafts, Target and numerous websites including allposters.com, ad-lines.com and many others. Shawn has also created art work for several large corporations.

Meagan Kimball
Meagan Kimball

Meagan Kimball serves Baywater Properties as A/P and A/R Manager. Over the last 15 years, she has worked in a variety of diverse business environments including the interior design industry, retail/wholesale and most recently real estate management. Her primary responsibilities include general business administration, office management and bookkeeping/finance.

Jose Ramirez
Jose Ramirez

Based in Westport, Jose is responsible for 285 Riverside Avenue and 355 Riverside Avenue. Prior to joining Baywater in 2015, Jose worked for Linque Management Company as Chief Engineer, where he oversaw maintenance and building operations. Jose has served as building engineer for Lincoln Property Company in Greenwich, Connecticut. Jose has received his certification at the Carmi School in the Bronx.

Christine Riniti
Christine Riniti

Prior to joining Baywater, Christine worked in financial and asset management roles for both private real estate investors and large financial institutions such as Mutual of New York Life Insurance Company and Bank of America. In addition for nine years was a director for HFF, LP, a commercial real estate capital intermediary. Working primarily on arranging debt placement, Christine was involved with over $1.5 billion of financing transactions. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed Real Estate Broker in both Connecticut and Ohio. She holds a BBA degree in accounting from Adelphi University.

Jon Sabrowski
Jon Sabrowski

As Director of Leasing and Special Projects, Jon is responsible for enhancing Baywater’s leasing, acquisition and development efforts in Fairfield and Westchester County. As a broker with more than 17 years of experience, Mr. Sabrowski is proficient in all aspects commercial real estate including office and retail lease negotiations, financial analysis, development, sales and marketing.

Jon was most recently Leasing Director for Building and Land Technology, a privately held real estate development, property management and private equity firm based in Stamford, CT. His responsibilities included the office leasing for a 5 million sq. ft. Class A office portfolio located throughout Fairfield County as well as the retail and office leasing for the 7.5 million sq. ft. Harbor Point Development, a transformative mixed-use project in Stamford, CT. Prior to that he was a founding partner and Principal of RHYS Commercial Real Estate, Stamford, CT and Senior Managing Director in the Stamford, Connecticut office of GVA Williams (now Colliers) with a core focus on Investment Sales.

He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), as well as a member of SACIA, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Real Estate Finance Commission (REFA) and the Fairfield County Sports Commission.

Mr. Sabrowski holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland where he was a three-time ACC champion as a member of the football team.

Sonia Traulsen
Sonia Traulsen

Sonia Traulsen serves Baywater Properties as Tenant Liaison and Business Office Manager. Sonia has an extensive background in interior design and retail customer focused businesses. Prior to her tenure at Baywater Properties, Sonia held positions at several Fortune 500 companies. She has broad experience in business office management having served in this capacity at both PaineWebber and GTE. At Time Inc., she managed a staff of sales and inventory personnel for the point of purchase distribution channel. She also managed the vehicle fleet associated with these individuals.
